My Shellie Comic Strips
In my spare time, I like to draw comic strips. My main character is “Shellie”. Shellie is a clumsy eleven-year-old girl. She gets into all sorts of messes and mix-ups. I am starting to make a book of Shellie’s comics for my friends and family. Bryan has had many good laughs at them.
Right now, I have eight strips. Apart from Shellie, I have four other characters: Shellie’s Mom, Shellie’s teacher, and Shellie’s friend and her sister. It’s strange, but they don’t have any other names, yet. Only Shellie’s fourteen-year-old sister has a name, which is Linda. Those four characters have only showed their face one each. The pets have more face time than the people (excluding Shellie!) I find that Shellie can get into more messes with animals. None of my comics have been coloured, so they’re just ink black. I get my family to rate my strips. They are usually a seven out of ten.
I am always thinking of perfect strips but usually I forget them before I write them down, that is why I have so little. Sometime I write a strip similar to what I have already done! It doesn’t take me very long to write a strip, maybe five or ten minutes. I plan on having tons of comics in the future. I really enjoy writing my strips and having people laugh at them.

Isn't that the ugliest hamster you ever saw?
